Charlotte De Cort

Charlotte De Cort is a Brussels based writer and film director. Both in her commercial and auteur work Charlotte feels driven towards close skins, fragile looks and tactile body movements to trigger the viewer’s senses. With her short documentary BGIRL BADLI (2022) Charlotte has traveled to different film festivals including Dok Leipzig, Krakow, FIPADOC, FIFA Montreal and IDFA School Programme.

Her hunger for empathy, sensuality and enrichment – experiences she hopes to translate to her audience - has also driven her to create her musical short film LIQUID LOVE (2022), made for the Belgian band Intergalactic Lovers, and her fiction short film UNGODLY (2023). Her latest work is a short dreamy documentary CORAL CITY (2024, co-directed with Camille Ghekiere), shot in Sri Lanka.

Charlotte has shot for Wrangler, Bellerose, Mad Brussels, Belgian Defence, port of Antwerp, Euromillions, Recupel, Lotus, Carrefour, and more.
